About us

Geraldine’s lifetime dedication to justice (“geregtigheid”) was forged in her early childhood, hiding under her uncle's prosecutor desk and observing a family committed to “standing sure”, not only for oneself, but for others. This foundation instilled in the continuous quest for the best way, without a “duel”, to balance "wants" and "needs," and to foster collaboration between "ours" and "others,".

After growing up in small towns and matriculating in 2000, Geraldine graduated in 2004 from the (then) Rand Afrikaans University with a LLB and in 2006 Higher Diploma in Cyber Law (UJ). She then began her legal career in Johannesburg Magistrate’s and Central Divorce Court, gaining invaluable experience in the daily workings of the legal system. She then completed her articles and practiced as an senior associate and CEO at an Auckland Park based firm as well as an senior associate in a Sandton based firm.

Motivated by a desire to provide clients with accessible, personalised legal services, Geraldine founded Anderson-Kriel Attorneys in November 2008 with a vision of combining legal excellence with a human touch and provide high quality, yet affordable solutions to her clients.
